Abstract

.Cloud technologies are revolutionizing agricultural procurement and logistics by transforming traditional supply chains into data-driven, transparent networks. The integration of cloud computing with IoT sensors and artificial intelligence has created sophisticated platforms that enhance farm management efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve crop yield predictions. Digital marketplace platforms have significantly decreased intermediary costs while increasing farmer profits through direct market access. Route optimization systems leveraging edge computing and machine learning have streamlined transportation logistics and reduced delivery time variations. Implementation of these technologies in dairy cooperatives across Africa has demonstrated remarkable improvements in post-harvest handling, quality assessment, and payment processing. Security measures incorporating quantum-resistant encryption and blockchain technology ensure data integrity and traceability throughout the supply chain. The emergence of advanced predictive analytics and autonomous systems, combined with enhanced scalability through distributed processing, positions agricultural technology for continued evolution toward more efficient, sustainable, and profitable farming operations worldwide.
