Abstract

Digital transformation is revolutionizing customer service within the waste management industry, marking a significant shift from traditional call centers to AI-driven solutions. This article examines how artificial intelligence, automation, and self-service portals are reshaping client interactions in waste management operations. Through analysis of implemented systems across various waste management organizations, this article explores how machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, and predictive analytics are streamlining service requests, reducing response times, and enhancing operational transparency. This article demonstrates that integrated digital platforms not only improve customer satisfaction but also drive operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making. This article indicates that organizations adopting these technologies experience substantial improvements in service delivery, reduced operational costs, and enhanced environmental performance through optimized route planning and resource allocation. This article concludes by highlighting the transformative impact of digital solutions on both customer experience and operational sustainability, providing valuable insights for waste management organizations planning their digital transformation journey.
